The Art of Making the Right At The Right Time To Move - manipulation at its' best!

How do you want to know when you win make a very gutsy train, which came on that they all, or you go home? There is some kind of checklist questions that can ask yourself when the last breath in the moment of decision, but only a personal story.

When I was twenty-one I interviewed for teaching positions at the top to pay, S, Chicago public schools. In those days there wasliterally two thousand applicants for every open position. I was married and moved to Chicago and my bride's family (all teachers) arranged for me to give in the interview. Although interviews are a topic for another column, these interviews were grueling, and the first interview with three members of the Committee, second interview with the full committee and the third with the decision makers in the committee.

I was in the prosecution of three jobs, and Isat in the last interview with the final line of the other candidates. They all looked a little older and that meant, "experience" as the nemesis of the first time candidates. After my conversation with this school, I was headed for my third call back at another school.

I was the last to enter the room in the last one-on-one, and I felt that I had a head start on the others in all respects with the exception of the category of experience in public education. The interview went wellalthough there seemed to be a focus on the fact that I will never be taught in public schools. I remember that one of the other candidates and enforce at that moment I felt that I had had nothing to lose.

I said: "If you expect a decision?"

Answer: "In one or two weeks."

I said, "Oh, that's a shame I'm going to the neighboring school for my third interview, and I am sure that they ask me to sign a contract today."

No answer (goodCharacters).

I said, (trying to be humble in my bold statement) "It's a shame this is my first choice, but it's not just a lot of jobs and I was the first in an offer. I had hoped she would now a Decision. "

Answer: "Could you please have a minute?"

I looked at my clock and waited a second, "Sure." I left the room and knew that I was one of the finalists, I thought that I had at least smoked that out the information from them. I was in the process with twoother schools and knew I was back on decisions.

It was a long five minutes, but within ten minutes I was on my way through the school board office to sign a contract.

I have no intention of that strategy (I wish I could) me so much credit. Now in my later years, with experience, I can understand the game and why I developed a winner that day.

I have them all on the track that day. If I had not offered the job, the days were, they probably have offered toanother person assume that I have withdrawn myself, taking into account a different position or the fact that I expressed when I had more match. I (more than 60,000 U.S. dollars a year on my first teaching position was.)

That day I learned something, and I have used the technique again and again. Women have it harder than men in this area is simply a female as whiners or worse, the judge "b" word. Men tactile play that game every day, to show the power of the castle. If you are tooplay 'Balls To The Wall ", consider this checklist.

1) You have nothing to lose, why? They should make a backup copy. This means that the game play is not really the "real" game. If you do not have a backup, then you must be willing to accept the consequences (like one of those game shows to win more money to go). This is the only way to "play."

You must remember that to have it back once you throw at them, you have no control. It is the "ball in court" syndrome; The next step is to them.

2) You have the results you can solve with another set of push-arguments. In other words, it has a fifty-fifty chance, and the idea that it is not likely to happen ". If you reach a certain result, you are as a sacrifice that must be "something.

3) You must be willing to lose everything in connection with this decision. If you are a low-ball a bid for a piece of real estate-stickYou must be willing to walk away without the property.

If you play "out of bullets" to give an undesirable consequence, as the other option, always try something from the person in power to take. This can be as simple as taking away their choice.

4) Your backup is your "need" situation and you should put it aside once it is established. Now you go after what you want "." Negotiate from this position is self-empowering.

5) The advice is, if yourmove, sit, stand still and be quiet. Wait until you are invited to the next step. Do not do it for them. This is probably the nerve-wracking and requires discipline.

Finally, practice. This sounds strange, but here is a game you can play. Try someone who has something to do, you will not worry about the consequences, in other words, it does not matter if the answer is "yes" or "no", but try to get to "yes" or to persuade someone to do something that theymay or may not be your position. They (the element of distance was added.)

On being an entrepreneur - not - "If you do not we by ourselves?"

-TRY - "If I can not convince you, then I'll do it myself." (She took her power to argue against you.)

On being a mom - NOT - "You're usually with me in the store!"

- TRY - "You do not go into the store with me, I'll have all dealt with." (They took the power of decision orChoice.)

To which a spouse - NOT - "We never go anywhere nice dinner."

- TRY - "We do not have to go eat. What are the ingredients that you want to pick me up, so you can cook the dinner?" (She was the expectation that you wanted to do something for someone else.)

To an employee - not - "Here I have to do everything."

- TRY - "Do not worry, I can even do. I do not need the loan anyway." (They took their power to achieve loans orPerformance).

On being a friend - NOT - "Can you only do this for me a time?"

- TRY - "I would not expect you to do that." (You took your high expectations of the person.)

The right decisions are decisions of the manipulation and at the right time means that you have forced the choice now, or sit in a position to choose another sequence. Remember that it does not always work, and that losing does not feel good either. If you are in the delicate gameManipulations both sides of the coin of experience, winning and losing.
Do you really have to manipulate these techniques with the words of the practice, as it is called a bad idea, or persuade, as it is commonly accepted or marked. Another important point is that not all negotiations are equal and that everyone has his breaking point, and this is where executive Sassy has her intuition.
